| How hurricane control will work- three methods shown. Cloud seeding removes material and therefore energy from the storm's eyewall. Biodegradable oil-based material would slow evaporation, thus robbing the hurricane of energy and then allowing the material to break down in a few days. Orbital power stations could heat water vapor near the sea surface, leading the hurricane out to sea and allowing it to dissipate.
