Description:  trilobite, rolled

Apparent size:  3.5 mm

Common features:  rolled up trilobite, worn by erosion.  Raised central lobe, bilateral symmetry, faint segmentation lines still visible.

Compare to Ditimopyge decurtata (bottom left) or Perinopsis interstricta (bottom right).

Summary description of image contents:  This is an eroded but very clear trilobite fossil.  The segmentation is still visible and the lobes are perfectly defined.  It may be similar to Perinopsis or a more traditional form that is worn from sandblasting.  Note that this organism is also present in Sol 046 images.
